We are remindered of the incredible journey we have taken as a company in breaking boundaries and going places where others dare to go. Hargis Petroleum began with the Vision of becoming the West Africa’s leading gas distribution company, recognized for our operational excellence, innovation and commitment to sustainable energy solutions that drive regional development. Today as a proud subsidiary of the Blue-Bridge Group, we take pride in providing reliable and high-quality gas for power generation, mining, industrial and domestic clients.

Hargis Petroleum transitioned from a dream that was launched in the bedroom of my childhood family farmhouse in rural Alabama to a small vibrant business of choice with multiple southern geographical locations. 

It is gratifying to know that our spirited commitment and dynamic professionalism to reshape what it means to be in the energy space in Africa. The team at Hargis are inspired by the culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation to serve our clients better while exceeding their quality requirements and expectation while maintaining very competitive rates.

We have continued to gradually grow our contract portfolio, breaking boundaries and reaching remote locations where others will not. As I think back over our transformation from a single one-person start-up to a strong socioeconomic performance-based organization, there are three tenants that have remained true and directly contribute to who we are today: Responsive, Reliable and Resilient.  

Looking forward, Hargis Petroleum is positioning itself to scale—boldly and intentionally.
